Before increasing the speed, I could consistently achieve 144 frames per second in Fortnite using the maximum settings. There were some minor fluctuations along the way.

It still drops frames after returning to normal.

Ryzen 7 1700 x
GTX 1070Ti
16GB Corsair RAM
Asus Prime X370-pro motherboard (for reference on the type of motherboard)
