Me and a friend are talking about how much we miss the old days when we would all hang out and Lan plays Unreal Tournament. I thought it was because my hardware was too fast for the game to work well until today. So far so good, even though every single system I have had in the past 15 years makes it run at insane speeds. Even tried other unplayable games and they work fine. I have an Intel 11400F CPU, an Asus Z590 Extreme motherboard, 32 GB of Kingston Trident Z DDR4 RAM, and a Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB graphics card. Last time I tried to run it, my build was much slower, the game got super fast, but I couldn't keep up with its speed. Now everyone else trying to get this running has an AMD chip, and to me, that is crazy because the most powerful system I ever owned can now play games my old slow systems used to make unplayable. One friend sent over his current specs: he has a Ryzen 3 2200GE with Vega integrated graphics. It seems like I'm the only one out of everyone else who can play again with an Intel CPU, and they all want to know how I can run it normally. My guess is that my Intel CPU runs games differently than AMD does, maybe some kind of scaling issue there. Anyone have any explanation? I am completely lost here!
