I am experiencing a persistent and frustrating issue with numerous games utilizing the Unreal Engine. The games consistently crash, ranging from Insurgency Sandstorm, Dauntless, War Hammer 40k: Eternal Crusade, to others, exhibiting a wide array of errors including OpenGL failures, D3D crashes, and file-not-found issues. These crashes occur seemingly randomly – while moving, stationary, in menus, or during graphically intense moments – with no discernible pattern.

I have undertaken extensive troubleshooting steps, including resetting my computer, performing complete Windows 10 wipes and clean reinstalls, meticulously updating and manually reinstalling graphics drivers, and completely reinstalling all affected games from scratch—a process I’ve repeated three times. My system is capable of running demanding titles like Escape From Tarkov, Modern Warfare, and Rainbow Six Siege flawlessly on ultra settings.

Despite this, any game utilizing the Unreal Engine triggers these crashes, forcing me to alt+tab and terminate processes or occasionally requiring a hard restart. The errors themselves are varied and inconsistent, spanning from engine-level failures to specific file retrieval problems. I've explored forums, utilized registry editing tools, but have been unable to identify a solution.

Currently, I meticulously research game engines before downloading them, attempting to avoid Unreal Engine titles altogether due to this ongoing instability. I am seeking assistance as the issue seems localized to games running on the Unreal Engine, and I’m concerned about its potential impact on the gaming industry. The error messages consistently indicate engine crashes; audio often continues playing during these failures, further highlighting the problem.
