Unreachable biological data and the need to access bios.
Hi. I recently played Valorant for a while and the game first asks to enable Secure Boot. When I tried to open the BIOS, it just displayed a black screen. I switched monitors and then another one, but nothing worked. After that, I removed the CMOS battery, which made things worse. All my settings vanished, including the "ignore fan speed" option. Now I see an error message saying "CPU Fan Error!" and it forces me to press F1 to run setup, but I can’t access it. My motherboard is B550-F Gaming (WI-FI), CPU is AMD Ryzen 9 5950x, GPU is RTX 3090. Anyone have any advice?
You might need to modify your BIOS settings. A BIOS flashback option is available; simply download the newest BIOS, use the included rename utility, and save it to a USB drive. Insert the drive into the correct port, then activate the BIOS flashback feature while the computer is powered off but the power source remains active.
I faced the same issue about a month ago (3070, 690 MB). Once it stopped working, I attempted to update the BIOS using bios flashback but it didn’t help. Eventually, I had to contact the manufacturer (gigabyte for me) and they resolved it.
