Current Configuration: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X (new) AsRock B650M Pro RS (new) Corsair Vengeance RGB 5600MHz CL40 2x16GB XMP Kit (new) Gigabyte RTX 2070 Windforce3 Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB Sata SSD Crucial MX500 500GB Sata SSD Seagate Barracuda Compute 2TB Sata HDD Toshiba DT01ACA100 1TB Sata HDD SeaSonic Focus GX-750 750W PSU (new) Software Updates: BIOS Version 2.02 (Agesa 1.1.0.0) Windows 11 & Windows 10 (latest) AMD Chipset Driver 5.11.02.217 (from Motherboard Downloads) Nvidia Driver 546.33 (Win11 & Win10) Previous Configuration: Intel i7 4790 AsRock B85M Pro4 Crucial 1600MHz CL16 2x8GB EVGA 600 B1 PSU Issue: Experiencing random crashes and PC freezes that seem unpredictable. Occasionally I can play for 30 minutes without issues, then the system restarts normally. Crash occurs during gameplay or benchmarks, sometimes in the main menu or when launching titles. All these incidents happened across both Windows 11 and Windows 10. Performance tests like Cinebench, Furmark, Aida64 work well even after an hour. Daily non-gaming tasks run smoothly (streaming Disney+, writing this post). Timeline: Day 1 – Installed new components, updated BIOS, booted Windows 11 on 120GB SSD. Ran updates, drivers, and games. Played Cyberpunk, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil; PC crashed intermittently. Day 2 – Switched to new PSU, completed updates, reinstalled Steam, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Cyberpunk. Experienced crashes during benchmarking and memory tests. Fixed BIOS, reinstalled OS, changed graphics settings. Day 3 – Disassembled PC, cleaned components, reassembled. Ran benchmarks without crashes. Day 4 (post-RAM install): Installed RAM, updated drivers, Windows crash during Tomb Raider benchmark. Other attempts: Reduced GPU clock, adjusted XMP profiles, changed voltage, disabled integrated graphics in BIOS. No improvement. SSDs and HDDs show normal temperatures. Notes: CPU stayed under 87°C, GPU under 105W, RAM at 175W. Disks reported no errors in CrystalDiskInfo. Event logs indicate "Event 41, Kernel Power" after crashes. Additional diagnostics: Windows Update, MSI Utility, GeForce Experience, and third-party tools provided no resolution. Some system events logged via Event Viewer (e.g., browser freeze, DDU issues). Certain settings like Path Tracing or RT shadows helped stability only temporarily.

Consider removing and restoring the game. It seems like a problematic setup.

Over these three days, all the games were reinstalled and verified for damaged files repeatedly. (Each time I updated the operating system, I also reinstalled the games)

I also cleared all of my storage devices, except the 1TB HDD which is my backup drive, prior to installing the new equipment.

I experienced a comparable issue with Minecraft on my tablet earlier. It could be a game bug. Contact their support if you haven't already.

The crashes happen in all 3 games (and also on the first OS install also happened on Black Desert). I highly doubt that it's a game specific error

It doesn't mention trying the 1tb disconnected; it refers to the 120 gb disconnected.
