I'm experiencing unplayable controller lag where inputs frequently freeze or stop responding. The problem occurs across various games, not just on Steam. Some titles function perfectly with no input delay or locked controls, while others show issues only when set as the main input. For example, I can navigate menus smoothly with the controller, but switching it to primary mode suddenly causes significant lag and unresponsiveness. This has been a persistent issue over the past week.
I didn't note that the controller functions properly during online tests or in DS4 Windows testing. I attempted to use DS4 and similar software to check for differences, but without success. The problem appears only when playing games.
