Unplanned PC restart while playing games
Specs Psu Gamemax gm400-8 (400W) CPU i5 3470 (77W) Mobo p8b75-M comes with 2-3 bent LGA p ins 2x4 DDR3 RAM. Occasionally the PC shuts down when playing GPU-intensive games for over 30 minutes. There are other hardware problems and unusual behavior reported by the BIOS. Voltage readings show the CPU is at 0.250V or lower, and other applications can't detect it. Benchmarks indicate my CPU performance is significantly better than average—possibly due to testing on a Linux distribution. After crashes, I must turn off the PSU, wait for the motherboard light to disappear, then press power to restart. Once the PC powers on, I need to let it cool before it starts again, otherwise it will crash during boot. This issue also occurred with a different 350W PSU.
