Hello, after replacing the network switch and WiFi in your home, everything seems set up properly. However, when connecting a PC via a network cable, you only get an unrecognized network with no internet access. This issue occurs in all rooms except the living room, where you have a working WiFi. By directly connecting a laptop to the switch using a cable, you manage to get internet. It’s unclear what might be causing this problem. Could it be related to faulty cables or something else?

It might be that your router is not properly configured. Are your modem and switch linked together, and are your devices connected in the right order?

It seems you're asking about a switch that affects network connectivity. Are all drops failing but working when connected directly to the switch? Also, do you receive an IP address?

No, previously it was configured identically, modem-switch (other devices) - router.

Unless the modem is a built-in router, the correct setup involves switching through modem, router, and then connecting devices.

I attempted it now, but it didn’t work. It might be necessary to replace all my cables. There’s a chance I could’ve damaged the connectors unintentionally, even though they seem fine.

It's uncommon for an Ethernet cable to fail unless it's been stretched frequently.
