I was attempting to download a game on Steam and observed that my internet speed was significantly slower than expected. I checked Task Manager for network details under the performance section, finding that roughly three-quarters of my bandwidth was being used. Most background applications were off, so I launched a few to test for download activity—nothing appeared. After restarting the PC, everything functioned normally. A thorough antivirus scan didn’t reveal any issues. Should I worry? Are there possible solutions? Would a clean installation be advisable?
