I understand the issue with performance on AMD GPUs. Do you have the game installed and a 280x display? Let me know how it's running.

I’m not suggesting you purchase or avoid any particular product, but I strongly caution against buying AC: Unity. Whenever Ubisoft releases a poor game, people are deeply disappointed and often regret their choices. It would be better to influence them to improve by refusing to buy the games they produce. Keep an eye on reviews—if they consistently label the PC version as terrible, steer clear. Those who keep buying these subpar ports are essentially signaling to Ubisoft that they’re willing to accept low quality.

Delay any action until a fix is released to avoid frustration from unresolved problems.

I’m really frustrated because the $300 GPU I got four months ago still won’t handle high performance.

It's not the components issue; it's the careless programmers who prefer reduced effort and higher pay.

It's time to cease offering support to those familiar with Ubisoft and their history, especially when they remain optimistic despite clear warnings. Don't condone acting like you're being advised by others who have been burned before—just because someone else claims it will be okay doesn't change the facts.

I really enjoy the Dragon Age series—though DA:2 wasn’t great, it was just something to fill time. I haven’t pre-ordered yet, and I won’t buy the game until I get approval from Totalbiscuit and/or AngryJoe. I’m hesitant to trust AJ because his vibe feels a bit off, and it reminds me of someone I know personally, which isn’t ideal.

According to PC Gamer even an overclocked GTX970 at was getting under 60fps at 1080p max settings despite being a gameworks Nvidia title. You better wait until some independant testing of how it scales across a variety of hardware.
