It’s typical for networks to create "Flows," storing them temporarily. A Flow contains the source and destination IP and port, connection timestamps, and data volume in each direction, though not the actual transmitted content. They hold the greatest influence over your privacy because they can directly link your VPS’s IP address to you. For the other ISPs that make up the broader internet, this data is usually treated as public information since they don’t know which IP belongs to whom.
