Hey, I see you're looking for games that can run smoothly on your older hardware. Since your setup has evolved from a gaming laptop to a multimedia machine, you might want to check out lighter indie titles or games optimized for performance. Let me know if you'd like some recommendations! (gtx 860m + i7-4710HQ)

I’ve gathered a mix of games that fit the vibe and your specs. Here’s what stood out:

- Binding of Isaac
- Clicker Heroes
- Dota 2
- Electronic Super Joy
- The Escapists
- Home Improvisation
- I Am Bread
- Race the Sun (skip it if you’re not in the mood)
- The Room
- The Room Two
- South Park Stick of Truth
- Rocket League
- Trackmania Nations Forever
- Trackmania Stadium
- Viscera Cleanup Detail
- Auralux
- Candy Ass Candy Eater (+1 for the nostalgic)
- OpenTTD
- Duck Game
- Golf with friends
- Nidhogg
- Speedrunners
- Worms Revolution
- Factorio
- Infinifactory (great for puzzle/planning fans)
- Age of Empires II HD (or skip if you prefer older titles)
- 1404 Venice / Dawn of Discoveries Venice (depending on regional spelling quirks)
- Banished
- Besiege
- Kerbal Space Program
- Civilization V (available on sale)

Let me know if you want more details on any of these!

It’s essentially Terraria but packed with richer storytelling and diverse settings. You can transform a spacecraft to suit any destination. I strongly suggest checking out a few gameplay videos; you’ll likely enjoy it if you liked Terraria.

Does it cost fifteen dollars? That seems high for a simple 2D adventure game.

It sounds like you're considering a trade-off. You think it might be around 7 out of 10, since things can get dull over time. Yet, compared to Steam Terraria at 97% and Starbound at 90%, it seems like a decent choice.

I’m considering returning to Terraria, but I might also try Starbound if I decide to skip the YouTube videos. Appreciate the tips!
