My roommate often waits until I come back to my room, since when I’m in my own space I usually power up the PC. This suggests they gain some advantage from my setup. My PC is missing a network driver and the Ethernet cable is unplugged. I don’t share this device. Could your internet-connected PC benefit them? They have an iPhone, iPad, and a laptop without admin privileges; they also have access to a socket that connects to an ISP antenna on the roof, which likely provides both internet and TV signals. I think they might be using my hardware because every time I turn it off for about 20 minutes, they seem to reconnect wires or USB devices, sometimes even damaging the socket.

He’s connecting something suspicious, possibly a keylogger, which could expose your banking details and other accounts.

It sounds like you're experiencing something unusual with sound that resembles USB or a similar device, but you don't see anything. You mentioned not using the internet and that your roommate doesn’t have direct access to your computer.

You're fueling their anxiety, just ask him why he's attacking the socket or what he's doing with the wires.

You're using the internet to share this content. It seems unclear why someone would plug things in without visible signs. You can usually monitor your PC's performance through its settings.

Note: The number 7 appears again—please disregard it.

He criticizes the socket if I don’t power on the PC for at least 20 minutes, since he assumes something will fail and doesn’t think I’ll notice him. I rely on the internet when my roommate isn’t around. There are two thin walls, and I can still hear them even while moving. The rooms are just 2 to 3 meters apart.

That's exactly what you believe... you mentioned he doesn't have direct access to your computer, and it isn't linked to a network. How might someone manage to arrange anything like that?

I meant he can't power on the computer or use a mouse and keyboard. Yet he might connect to the PC's hardware through an iPhone via antenna wires, then through electric cables, ending at my PC.

He appears to be inserting components, but it's unclear if he has direct physical access.
