Hello, I hope you're in the right place. I just got a Fractal Torrent case and opened it. While handling it, my finger accidentally touched it, causing a short circuit. The case itself is fine—no power supply or other parts were installed except for the included electronics. Should I be concerned? Is there any chance the fan controller, fans, or USB connections got damaged? Since I can't build for a week, I'm unsure if anything happened yet. Am I just panicking unnecessarily? What should I do?
Completely fried the case; it's no longer usable. It can't be considered functional anymore. Just a joke—shocking things this way isn't effective, especially for a simple case. Other components remain unaffected.
The empty PC case is merely a piece of metal. Possibly, it gave you a shock from static electricity it gathered from the plastic and foam wraps. No cause for concern.
