Hey, I see your confusion. Updating to Unicode 10 usually depends on the font you're using. You don't necessarily need a special font for that version—just make sure your operating system and installed fonts support it. For Windows 7, checking the font settings in your system preferences should help. If you're using Chrome, ensure the correct files are in your Chrome folder. Let me know if you need more details!

It seems you're experiencing an issue with updating something in Windows. Could you clarify what you're trying to update and any specific steps you've taken so far? This will help provide a more accurate solution.

Microsoft is unlikely to add Unicode 10 charset support for Windows 7 in the base fonts, unless they already included it. On Edge in Windows 10 (1709), most emojis and older characters function correctly, while a few remain inconsistent. You can try various hacks or workarounds to change some site fonts, but I haven't verified their effectiveness.

Windows 10 addressed the Fall Creators Update. Sharing solutions would breach the Terms of Service for Windows. Windows 7 is an older system not intended for consumer use anymore. Windows 10 Fall Creators Update version 16299 backs Unicode 10.0 and Emoji 5.0. To access the latest Unicode, you must upgrade to Windows 10.
