My Hardware:
Acer Predator Helios 300 (2018)
Windows 10
i5-8300H processor
GTX 1060 with 6GB of VRAM
8GB DDR4 2666MHz Dual Channel (4x2) memory
120GB SSD
1TB HDD – Supplied by the manufacturer
Greetings, I’m experiencing stuttering issues during gameplay. This is particularly noticeable when there are rapid movements, like an opponent suddenly appearing, causing my laptop to lag.

I've examined the system temperatures; they are reaching 80-90°C, indicating that heat isn’t the primary cause as thermal throttling would activate at 95°C. I’ve also applied a -140mV undervolt using XTU.

I’ve tested PUBG (stored on the SSD) and Forza Motorsport 7 (stored on the HDD), both of which exhibit stuttering problems. Previously, everything functioned correctly. However, it might have started after my Windows update – I'm uncertain. Before this, I could run Forza Motorsport 7 with maximum graphics settings without any lag.

For context, this laptop originally shipped with only 4GB of RAM at 2666MHz. I purchased a second-hand 4GB module matching that speed, and the system detects it properly. Could this used RAM be responsible for the stuttering? I’ve also attempted to reinstall the NVIDIA graphics driver through GeForce Experience, but without success.
