I've begun experiencing abrupt pauses in video games lasting approximately 0.5 to 1 second, which can be frustrating when it happens repeatedly—particularly in Grand Theft Auto V. My system specifications are: an Intel Core i7-9700K, an NVIDIA RTX 2070 graphics card, and Corsair RAM with a speed of 3200 MHz (8x2GB). My graphics drivers are up-to-date. Are there any potential fixes for this issue?

Always list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Include the make and model of the PSU and the version for your OS(if Windows 10). Have you tried working with other game titles?

Graphics card: GIGABYTE RTX 2070 Gaming OC
Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS Ultra
I utilize a Seagate Barracuda HDD for my games, but I have a C: drive on an SSD.
Power Supply Unit: Corsair vs650 80+ White/Gray
Case: Coolermaster MB511
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro
I rarely experience random frame drops in Monster Hunter World, and only occasionally—around once every twenty minutes—in The Witcher 3.
Edit: I am now encountering audio stuttering (a distinct “brrrrr” sound accompanying normal audio) in Assassin’s Creed Origins.
