Hey! Your setup looks solid with a GTX 970 G1, i5 4690K, and 8GB RAM. When you play Dying Light, you're usually fine, but when zombies appear suddenly, you notice frequent stutters and FPS drops to just a few frames. That’s frustrating because you often miss the action after those brief glitches. Have others had similar issues?

The issue is with the game itself, not your device.

I don't encounter the exact same problem, and there isn't a specific link I can share for that.

It seems like a clever twist on the title. The intense action is what matters, and the situation is getting tough. Not great for a good joke!

Surprised that my GTX 680 struggles with high settings, but it runs smoothly at 60 FPS when textures are set to medium and all other options remain high.

I maintain consistent performance at 60 FPS even when all settings are at their highest. My issue is that FPS sharply decreases whenever a "Surprise Zombie" shows up, lasting 3 to 4 seconds. This is really annoying! The drops seem to happen during those brief moments. Are these fluctuations linked to "semi-cut scenes"?

That's correct, I maintain stable 60fps even at maximum settings. The issue occurs just before encountering a zombie, where performance drops to 23 and then recovers to 60 after a few seconds. It seems to be related to the game rather than our hardware.

That's great news! I was worried about choosing the GTX 970 over the GTX 980 since the latter are pricier locally. Phew!

In my nation the GTX 980 costs about $840. I had a tough experience and ended up spending $750 on a 780 model.

It's frustrating when the game slows down during every cutscene.
