During testing of my components, Cinebench R23 experienced two crashes. While playing a few games, I encountered similar issues. I tried Valorant and Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator, which are CPU-heavy titles. I also attempted Minecraft but it failed to launch. I’ll provide logs and reports below. I’m completely unsure what’s happening. Right now, I’m planning to reinstall the Windows update and will follow up if it resolves the problem. My system specs are: i7-12700K, 64 GB RAM (two 16 GB sticks), and a GPU of an RTX 3070. The file I have is BugReport.txt, hs_err_pid26096.log, and SystemLogs-2023-12-26.zip.

You have 64 GB of RAM. Do you have twice the amount of a 2x 16GB RAM kit? With Armory Crate installed, confirm all components—including UEFI/BIOS—are up to date. Your computer details appear in the logs you shared; please refresh your original post and share your build specifications as shown in this example.

System specs: i7-12700K, 64 GB RAM (4-16 sticks), boot drive, hard drive, SATA SSD, RTX 3070 GPU. The goal is to disable X.M.P even though previous issues didn’t occur.

Your build specifications should reflect the original post. The RAM kits you mentioned should match exactly—supposed to be the same model. It’s important to verify that each kit is paired correctly within its slot on the motherboard. (For clarity, mismatched pairs won’t work.) You’ll need to check the serial numbers on the DIMMs to confirm compatibility. Ideally, you’d like a single 4x16GB kit rather than two separate 16GB kits, but having multiple kits can still function if installed properly. If XMP is disabled, manual voltage tweaks might be necessary to get the overclocked RAM to perform well. You likely purchased two 16GB kits, possibly dual-rank, which puts extra strain on the CPU’s IMC. Incorrect slot placement could further complicate the motherboard’s ability to recognize and stabilize the RAM.

I now grasp your query. I purchased two 16-gig sets and double-checked their placement. My main worry was whether everything functioned properly, but after turning off X.M.P., it appears to work correctly again.

You might reset the CMOS and turn off fast boot to check if the motherboard can properly initialize RAM. Using Armory Crate for an update—particularly the UEFI settings—could enhance stability. I can provide more specifics if needed, but it seems you’ve achieved your goal.

I confirmed everything is up to date via the armory crate and the BIOS is using the latest release. I’ll try turning off fast boot and clearing the CMOS, but at least things seem normal now. My RAM size has changed from 3200 to 2666, so I might not need to make any adjustments right now. Thanks for your assistance—I was really concerned because I thought something was wrong.
