Wow, that's a significant drop! It really highlights how much these setups vary. I'm impressed by your score; I've never come close to 5200 before. I understand the differences I've noticed based on time of day and temperature. Looking at your results, I plan to experiment more with PPT/EDC/TDC to find an optimal setting.
Additionally, I just ran -0.125V..., which results in a ST performance of 518 and a MT score of 5062.

The experienced Ryzen overclockers have been complaining how PBO boosting works with Ryzen 3000 compared to how it did with 2000 CPU's in that does not follow the PPT/TDC/EDC settings with any coherency. As it turns out, there is a bug in AGESA 1004b PBO. They've found a way to at least get better PBO performance, even if it's still not exactly 'coherent' to the settings.
And lastly: do not forget that CPU boosting is extremely temperature sensitive. CB20 scores will vary quite a bit through the day on my system, especially the MT scores.

I'll be thrilled when my components arrive and I can dive into all this fun stuff. Covid shipping really threw me off. Room ambient doesn't really change loads much, unless the room gets very hot—like over 40°C. But normal temperatures are way too low compared to what the CPU can handle under stress, so it doesn't really matter. Idle is another case. The CPU uses very little power, which means ambient temperature has minimal impact on the internal case temps and the cooler. It's physically impossible to cool the CPU below ambient by mechanical means. Both air and liquid cooling rely on mechanical processes. If the room is around 22°C, depending on cooler efficiency and CPU performance, the case could be 6-12°C warmer. With ambient air at 32°C, idle temps jump to 42-48°C or higher. Of course, Ryzen can idle at 60°C and Prime95 around 70°C, which isn't surprising.
