1920x600 1920x800 1920x1080 1920x1200 are the resolutions used. The game maintains full resolution without cutting or zooming, keeping the field of view consistent, similar to Dead Space. A console command exists to adjust the FOV in TEW, though it isn't currently working and may be fixed soon.
When updating to a new version, adjust the field of view accordingly. For a 1920x1080 full-screen setup, consider reducing the FOV slightly during the patch to maintain optimal viewing. This ensures the cut-off edges remain comfortable for the user.

I'm pretty sure he made a mistake there. I saw a stream where a command just cleared the black bars without changing the field of view or anything else. It caused another issue where fading to black and fading to game-only only worked at the default game size. So you always had some part of the world rendered on top.
