I'm evaluating the transition of my side projects into an LLC, as the deductions justify the effort. A challenge I face is balancing my current pricing strategy with grey methods to stay competitive, particularly when transactions fall within the $400–$600 range. I collaborate with a cybersecurity company that partners with Microsoft, and before reaching out, I have two concerns. First, what would Microsoft charge if I became a Microsoft Partner? Second, can those partnership credentials be applied to systems that will eventually be sold?

I understand prices drop with increased purchases. Checking their enterprise portal might be helpful.

It would likely be practical to work in small batches of 1-5 people. Would it make sense to join forces or reach out to an MSP/VAR? Also, could you clarify your second question?

You're purchasing OEM licenses for system builders, not bulk orders. These licenses are intended for companies that build systems rather than individual buyers. Microsoft's guidance suggests you should connect with partners who sell System Builder OEM licenses, as direct purchases from Microsoft may not be optimal. You might find better pricing on legitimate resellers compared to Amazon or other platforms.
