The big fan was employed in workstations equipped with two 130W CPUs. However, since these are workstations rather than servers, noise levels were a key factor. In fact, it operates more quietly under heavy use compared to the smaller model. I utilize them in BTX systems where a single fan is the standard design. It proves to be a valuable upgrade for individuals in third-world countries with hot climates and limited air conditioning.
This version is even more of a monster than the 150mm. It uses PWM though.
