Hi there, After recovering from the situation, I finished setting up my build and tried to power on my computer. I’m seeing a red CPU indicator light and want to figure out why. I checked the CPU (Ryzen 5950x) and everything seems fine. My cooler is working properly, and I also tested my older CPU (Ryzen 3800x) which functioned well until I removed the cooler. Could an old BIOS on my motherboard (MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX) be the cause? If not, what else might be wrong and what should I test next? Thanks.

Have you checked for BIOS updates? Some B550 models come with BIOS that isn't compatible with Ryzen 5000 yet, even though they're still available. According to the MSI website for that board, you should use at least this BIOS version: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B450-TOM...AX/support

I haven't attempted an update yet. I'm checking if the issue was a real cause before trying it.
