Hi there, new member! First time joining, glad to see you. I just got my 5900x and so far it's been a good experience. Mostly for video editing and gaming. After each new setup, I run some tests. I’m not hitting the advertised 4.8ghz boost speed in single-core mode—my CPU is around 4.5 to 4.6ghz. The benchmarks don’t match the reviews either (598 in Cinebench R20). However, with multiple threads it reaches about 4.4ghz and scores line up with published results (8513 in Cinebench R20). XMP and PBO are turned on. Temperatures stay under 78°C during load. Is this just a rare silicon outcome or am I missing something? Build details: Ryzen 5900x, Noctua DH15, Gigabyte x570 Pro, 2x 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600, Samsung 980 Pro GTX 1080.
