My RM750x is making a steady buzzing or humming noise, and I'm trying to figure out if it's normal coil whine or something more serious. I can't send a video because it's too quiet for my phone to capture clearly—I have to listen closely. To help, here are a few points: - This isn’t my GPU; the sound is coming from the power supply unit. - The issue occurs consistently across different loads—whether I’m gaming or just idling. - It’s louder sometimes when I power it on compared to other times. - I connected it directly to the wall instead of using my surge protector, but the noise remains. - The sound isn’t from the fan; I notice it more when the fan runs at low speed or under light load. - I haven’t heard this during the first few weeks of use. I remember that sometimes turning it off can produce a high-pitched whine or squeal, which suggests it’s likely just coil whine. Still, it’s worth checking if this happens under all conditions.

I noticed your RM750i also had consistent coilwhine, though not loud enough to be noticeable unless you were very close to the power supply. It seems like this is typical coilwhine, not a serious issue. You likely have nothing to worry about.

It helps to know that both systems remained stable under varying conditions.
