Today I began the PC and saw unexpected windows appearing when I launched my regular programs. I turned it on and off several times to fix it, but they still showed up after opening Chrome and IMVU. I captured a screenshot. No pop-ups appeared at the bottom of the window bar. The only new thing in Task Manager after they disappeared was MsEdge starting with high priority. Maybe it’s connected to a game bar since all the icons look like gaming ones. (Note: unsure, could be related to a game or achievement.)

that random window refers to the pop-up that appears in the screenshot, often with icons or symbols. It can flash as a white window that doesn’t load or show up fully when the screen is captured. It hasn’t appeared in the last five searches on this PC, which is running Windows 11, an i7-9700K processor, 32GB RAM, and a GTX 1070 graphics card. It seems to be the same window that sometimes appears during games.
I believe I fixed the issue using the built-in Game Bar's "game help" feature. When I accessed the Game Bar and selected "game support," the problem still appeared unexpectedly during gameplay and then shut down immediately afterward. Also, I haven't used the Game Bar before.
Yesterday the security patch started causing issues with games. The Game Bar isn’t working at all, but when it does open, it just disappears and you’re stuck on the desktop—you have to use Alt+Tab to jump to the game. It’s really frustrating. I need to identify what process is causing this (probably a new one) and remove it.
So yeah if you had given us full screenshot we could have seen this thing is called Game assist ... Which can thankfully be uninstalled. (with yet unknown consequences) @DoctorNick you don't have edge installed? Apparently this is a new "security feature" (I swear that's what windows told me... they always lying... lol) I guess next up is uninstall edge? Been 5 years minimum I used this POS browser (if it didn't randomly open itself lol) >.<
