I checked the newest Beta Bios 1602 and saw a rise in input latency. I decided to revert to the stable 1202 BIOS. During the flash process, I encountered the error "Selected file is not proper bios!" I formatted my USB to fat 32, also tried using an MBR volume, renamed the file, and even used the direct BIOS method. It seems Asus might have uploaded incorrect files recently.

Insert the USB into the BIOS port. Ensure the computer is powered off, press the backspace key for about three seconds, and wait until the indicator light above the screen begins to flash before releasing it. The BIOS process finishes when the light stops blinking. Refer to the manual for details.

Did you execute the executable that came with the BIOS file? I just tried it recently, and it functions for the Flashback feature. That’s the only method mentioned to restore the older version.

I faced an issue with my GTX 1060 OC video card, which allowed me to use any BIOS in DOCP mode. After switching to the RTX 2060, I can no longer run in DOCP.

I can verify whether it's possible to update the BIOS from version 1602 to another, as long as the target version is compatible with your system. The stable release is 1202.

I won't test every alternative BIOS, just stick with what's available. Flashback seems to work—check the manual.
