I have this side PC/server that I use to host some Minecraft servers, a TeamSpeak 3 server and my plex server. This morning at 03:00 EDT the computer crashed? Not really sure. I switched my monitor input to the side PC and it was just blank. The screen was on but it was just a gray screen. I couldn't do anything so I restarted the PC. Nothing like this has ever happened before. Upon multiple restarts I get stuck on 2 screen. Either the ASROCK Preparing Automatic Repair or a loading wheel under the windows logo with no text. It stay on this screen for 5-10 mins or so then blue screens and says "Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart. We'll do that for you." Then it restart and it's back to one of those screens. I've tried: - Restarting system - Reset CMOS - Moved M.2 boot drive to another M.2 slot - Tried to boot off a USB - Re-seat Ram sticks 2 Additional things as well. First: When I restart the computer sometimes, but not always a single beep can be heard. I quick google search and I find that it's a RAM issue. I went a took out all my RAM and tried to run my system again. Sometimes it would beep sometimes it wouldn't for each individual ram stick. I'm assuming this means I need new ram, but I'm not entirely sure. Second: When I load into the BIOS I can see my two SATA HDD hard drives show up, but my M.2 drive that boot off of doesn't show up. I tried to boot from a USB stick which did show up in the boot manager, but that still didn't fix my issue. Not sure why the M.2 wont' show up. There are no signs of physical damage on the hard drive or anywhere else in the system. I'm sorta at a loss right now. Do I just buy new ram and see if that works? Maybe a new boot drive too? Was this a preventable thing and if so how do I not make the same mistakes? I'm just unsure of what to do so I'm looking for some guidance. Anything is appreciated.
