Hey there, I just got all the components for my new PC today. First, I want to say everything seems working properly. However, I installed my old SSD and HDD into this brand-new system. The SSD on my previous machine ran Windows 10, but I upgraded to an AMD R5 5600X with MSI B550 Pro Gaming. I didn’t reinstall Windows 10 there. Before starting the build, everything looked good, so I kept the old SSD. Also, I got a new RTX 4060 Ti and another NVMe SSD, though I’m not sure if those are the issues. I updated the BIOS to the latest version I found and did it correctly. Now I have no idea what to do next, so I really need your help!

Parts: MSI B550 Pro Gaming + R5 5600X RTX 4060 Ti (PSU)
Power supply: 12m 750 Gold (NOTE)
Everything is reading properly – RAM, CPU, and storage – but I can’t boot into Windows 10.

Before moving forward, I’d remove unused or unnecessary Intel chipset drivers and uninstall them. After the transition, I’d reinstall everything from the ground up.

Your key is typically connected to your Windows account when you link it. You can remove the previous computer and install a new one at www.microsoft.com based on the license you have.
