Hello, I'm having trouble starting Rainbow Six Siege. I've tried reinstalling the game and Uplay again, and followed every step in this guide. Check the forums thread here: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/127...on-startup! Anyone have suggestions? Also, it says I'm in-game on Steam and need to stop "uplay game launcher.exe" for it to close.

Update or reinstall your device drivers. R6 kept crashing even after I reinstalled my graphics card drivers. Uplay and R6 are currently quite unstable.

I've updated the latest NVIDIA GPU driver, but the "uplay game launcher" process keeps launching without any response.

It seems Uplay might be offline, which occurs occasionally on Steam when you can't connect.

I believe I've identified the reason, so I'll reach out to Ubisoft.

I resolved the issue by removing and reinstalling Uplay while preserving my game files in their original location.
