I can't start into BIOS by pressing delete during boot. I just freeze on a black screen until I turn it off completely. I can enter BIOS via UEFI, though. I believe I didn’t have this trouble when I first assembled the PC about a year ago. Except for this, everything works fine. I only realized the issue while attempting a BIOS update. I decided to skip the troubleshooting and went directly into BIOS using the UEFI path, then tried the M-Flash method to update BIOS but had to restart and re-enter BIOS repeatedly, ending up with another black screen. I know I can use the BIOS flash button to update BIOS, but I’m hesitant because I don’t want to risk damaging my PC by doing it incorrectly. My monitor uses an HDMI cable, and I’ve checked every possible connection point. I’ve attempted clearing CMOS by removing the battery for ten minutes. I’ve also tried updating firmware using links from NVIDIA support; they indicated no update was necessary. Still unsure what to do next or what might be causing this. If you have any additional details, please let me know—I’d really appreciate your assistance.
