I'm having trouble setting up Windows 8 on my new M.S.I. M9 Ack motherboard (Z170). I recently purchased everything new, including two 850 EVO 500GB SSDs, an Intel i7 6700K processor, HyperX Fury DDR4 2666 CL15 RAM, and a previous MSI GTX 760 4GB. I configured RAID 0 with the appropriate settings, but when I plug in the Windows USB drive, I can locate the RAID array yet it won't install anything. I've tried installing drivers and even using a single drive for Windows, but nothing works. I need guidance on how to resolve this issue.

It seems you're encountering issues with drivers. Always installing them might not be the solution. Try checking other sources or contact support for help.

You haven't searched closely enough. One of my initial findings is this link: http://forum.overclock3d.net/showthread....e4&t=27916. It's running Windows 7, but I think the problem might be similar.

The 850 EVO SSD controller remains AHCI even after creating a RAID 0 array. For Samsung SSDs, there are no standard drivers that change the controller type to RAID.
