Unable to set up Windows 11 on the New Hp 15-dy2075tg model.
In short, I need to reinstall Windows 11 on an HP laptop but the installer isn’t recognizing the M.2 SSD. I’m sure it works, yet both Windows 11 and 10 don’t show it. I checked the BIOS for any adjustments, but nothing changed. I also searched for the SSD driver but couldn’t find a link. The SSD is a Samsung HBM256GDRAM chip, anyone have suggestions?
I’d recommend verifying your dip switches, though NVMe drives don’t include them. I think there could be an issue with the UFIE or BIOS, possibly because SSDs were added later to HDDs. Those ideas might not apply now. Both possibilities are probably outdated. A common issue remains bad connections. Can the UFIE/Bios detect them? This might relate to how flags are configured on the SSD. GL this concern has appeared before, so checking old discussions could help. Iirc it wasn’t always the same problem.
