I received a package from Micro Center containing: Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX V2 ATX Ryzen 7 9700X Granite Ridge AM5 3.80GHz 8-Core Flare X5 Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5-6000 PC5-48000 CL36. The remaining components were an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Super Windforce V2 with triple fans, a 16GB GDDR6X RAM module, a 1050W power supply certified by 80 Plus Gold, and a fully modular ATX case. I installed everything and booted the system. The CPU LED flashed red briefly before turning off, and the DRAM light stayed solid red continuously. After updating the BIOS to version F31 using qflash, the issue persisted without any improvement. I rechecked all connections, tried reseating cables, RAM, and CPU, even disconnecting the GPU and using only one RAM stick at a time in slot A2, but nothing changed. I consulted Micro Center, who stated that flashing the BIOS requires a compatible CPU and warned against proceeding without it. This update was made on December 11, 2024. What should I do next?
