Hi there. I’m looking for guidance on choosing between two AMD options after selling my 6700k. I have a limited budget and need to decide quickly. I’m based in South Africa, so I’ll share the links here. Please let me know which option you think fits best, and why. Thanks for your help!

Only these two options apply. Using just one stick reduces performance slightly, though both boards are still fine. The X570 supports Gen 3 speeds thanks to its 2700x architecture. As for RAM timings, let me know the specific configuration you're asking about.

The 3600 @ CL18 and the 3200 model are both available, but details for the EVETech link aren't present.

If the 3200 kit matches a CL16 setup, they'll behave alike. Regardless, both units are fine and their setups should yield similar results.

I'm restricted to these options only, and I don't have other choices.

The article mentions VRM problems with the x570-Pro-a, but whether it’s an issue depends on the context. Comparing it to the 450M isn’t straightforward without knowing the specific use case. It might not necessarily mean better performance, just potential drawbacks.

The pro performs poorly in this area, relying on 4 4C029N and 4C024N doubles plus IR3598, while I almost missed what the bazooka does. Both should work fine with a stock 2700x.

Thank you so much for your assistance. I’m still unsure about which option to choose. Not knowing the timing for the 3200 is making things difficult.

Honestly unless it was horrendous timings like above cl18, it shouldn't perform a lot worse.
