Verify the SATA ports you connected your drives to. NVMe often uses some of the same SATA connections as regular drives. Refer to your motherboard manual to see which SATA ports are unsuitable and where you installed your disks. You may need to reinstall software, though copying configuration files or settings might be an option. For games—especially those from Steam, Ubisoft, or installers like Epic Origin—it should be feasible to locate the installation files and restart the applications. I’m sure it works with Steam and Ubisoft.

Usually apps work well on SSDs. Windows can be tricky underneath the surface—parts need careful placement and files must be updated properly. While it’s technically doable by hand, it’s rarely worth the effort. One issue is that mistakes can cause problems, and even without errors it still takes more time.
