Your system experiences recurring issues with the BIOS, games freezing or crashing, and unexpected shutdowns. After power cycling, it boots normally but fails to fully power down. The delete key isn’t functional, and booting from Windows triggers a forced restart while leaving fans and components powered. PC specs indicate a mid-range build with a solid CPU and decent RAM. This pattern suggests potential hardware instability or firmware conflicts. Consider checking BIOS updates, running diagnostics, and inspecting for loose connections.

Is this excessive deletion? Try sending deletes and f2 together—sometimes navigating BIOS is tough.

Consider upgrading your motherboard. Check if you can remove the CMOS battery and reset the CMOS. Swap out the CMOS battery too. Update the CPU and memory components.

I've already attempted the CMOS reset and battery swap. I'm considering the motherboard too, since I recently got these second-hand ones from a colleague.
