Yes, it does. On the network 10.x.x.x, connecting to an IP from 192.168.x.x isn't possible, likely because that's the default IP of the router. It seems the DHCP server or gateway IP is probably 10.0.0.1.

I'm staying at my in-law's for a holiday event, and the router is in my sister's place. That means I don't have direct access to it right now. I'm not sure what IP address I was using when I connected, since I didn't run ipconfig yesterday... (I'm a little embarrassed about that)

I'm gradually understanding that discussing network issues is still challenging for me. I'm sorry for this. Right now I'm linked to another router, roughly 30 kilometers away from the affected one. It seems I might have needed to explain this better.

Most routers don't expose their web interfaces via the internet due to security measures. To reach private IPs, you'd typically need their public IP address or a VPN connection.

There's an option which is using TeamViewer to access a computer that is connected to it, then access it that way Though you'll lose connection as you restart the router
