I've owned this router for a while and used it before, but it's been sitting unused for a couple of years now. Recently, I found a purpose for it and it's functioning perfectly. Still, I'm struggling to reach the web interface. I remember using the default IP address, 192.168.1.254, but it doesn't work this time. I've tried connecting two laptops—one with a dedicated Ethernet port and the other with a USB C adapter—but neither can access the page. I need to check the configuration settings since they might conflict with my router. Any suggestions?

You may have cleared your session with a pen. It's possible your IP address was updated during your previous use.

Connect the router to a computer without any other internet link, then execute ipconfig. The default gateway should show the IP address. If this fails, restart the router and assign a new IP on the label.

Identify the default gateway of your router through the WiFi settings on an iOS device. Another approach is to perform a port scan on your local network to reveal open ports. This can help you see which devices are listening and whether the router appears. If an IDS is active on the router and blocks certain traffic, it may require a manual reset using the back button with a pin. Sharing your netstat output can also assist in troubleshooting.
