I possess an Alcatel Lucent ONU model from my previous provider, Airtel. Frequently relocating has been a challenge. My last two homes lacked fiber connections, but the new location now offers one. I intended to connect the ONU with a Wi-Fi router, yet I’m unsure how to access it. This is the first time I’ve logged into an Alcatel device. I searched for the default IP 192.168.70.254 and other common addresses, but none worked. No login screen appears. The unit powers on and recognizes the LAN cable, but the Advanced IP scanner didn’t assist. I’ve seen other routers on my ISP with default credentials, though that’s a different matter. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I hadn't thought I'd discover this thread. As an internet service provider, I helped a customer with their Alcatel ONT. I located the default login page at 192.168.1.254. The user wants me to set up the IP using @LtMadInsane and configure the network with 192.168.1.0/24 on my PC. My challenge is figuring out the default username and password for this ONT.
