I've been working on this since morning. I turned on XMP in the BIOS, which set the clocks to 18-19-19-39 at 1.35V. But it keeps failing to boot. After that, I tried lowering the speed to 3600 and it worked. Can someone help me understand why I can't reach 4000MHZ even though the specs say it should work?

It's not really. Most folks think XMP is just an overclock, but even when it's listed for quality version, it might not function properly without a few adjustments.
