Hello! Most users seem to handle this well, but I'm struggling. I'm using an i7-7700k and a Z270 Gigabyte board, trying to install Corsair RAM at 3200MHz with XMP enabled in BIOS. My PC won't boot, and I can only reach up to 2133MHz. Please help, thanks!

I'll attempt it, but how does this relate to RAM speed?

certain processors feature preferred channels. these tend to perform better when memory is placed in slots 2 and 4 instead of slots 1 and 3
