It seems your setup is fixed to the built-in webcam microphone. Try adjusting the device settings or checking if another audio source is connected. If it still doesn’t work, consult your hardware manual for alternatives.

Steam will automatically select your primary device, open the voice menu and pick the change option, update your default setting and close the window, after which you’ll find a button labeled "finished changing" or similar, or you can adjust it directly in Windows settings and restart Steam.
