Hi, I see you're having some issues with your RAM's RGB control after setting up your PC. It sounds like the problem started after installing Dragon Center and then switching to Aura Sync. You mentioned formatting the drive and reinstalling Windows twice, which is a good step to rule out conflicts. Since the RAM keeps flickering and freezing, it might be stuck in static mode with changing colors. Try disabling Aura temporarily and see if the issue persists. If it does, you may need to reset the RGB controller or consult the manufacturer's support for further assistance.

I recently assembled a setup using a gigabyte and an MSI board. Neither supported the essential ballistix RAM via their RGB interfaces. I added Asus Armory Crate, which allowed me to manage the RAM that way. The synchronization isn't flawless, but it's significantly improved over having no sync at all.

Thank you for your message. The issue with the flickering RAM after installing Aura suggests a potential conflict, though I can't confirm the exact cause. It seems risky to proceed without fully resolving it. Could you check if another program was still running when the problem started? Also, consider whether the RGB settings are affected—this might help identify the source.

I successfully set up armory crate without the flickering issue (MSI not running). The lighting display altered, but the system indicates no compatible devices are connected, preventing further adjustments. Additionally, without MSI, I’m unable to configure the remaining components.

I haven't seen any instability with RAM during the installation of Armory Crate. I'm using the motherboard utilities to manage RGB lighting on the motherboard and case fans, and then enabling Armory Crate for RAM.

No, this is not an MSI product.

I just assembled two systems. One uses an MSI motherboard while the other is from Gigabyte. Both feature essential ballistix RGB lighting, and they’re both compatible with Armory Crate.
