I might look for a small powered fan hub for a low cost.
Disclaimer, I’m checking on my phone but this item should work.
There are various devices available, but something comparable should let you supply the hub using a SATA power cable and connect it to your system fan header on the board. This would enable you to control the fans independently, as the SATA power cable provides them with power.
