Unable to load Windows installation!!!
The issue likely stems from compatibility or driver problems when using a USB installation media. The blue screen and shutdown suggest a system error during boot. Try using a known working USB drive or ensure your drivers are up to date. If the problem persists, consider checking the installation tool version or consulting Windows support.
Windows 10 seems correct. Are you generating the USB installer from a different computer using the Windows Media Creation Tool?
The system runs Windows 10. I downloaded the ISO using a media creation tool. Then I created a bootable USB with Rufus.
I chose a different method because it was quicker and more straightforward.
I've attempted, but reaching 100% still results in an error. Using an ISO and Rufus doesn't seem to resolve the issue.
AMD A6-5400B featuring built-in graphics and 8GB memory. This is the machine my friend uses. He aimed to switch from Windows 7.
I faced problems with Rufus before. It doesn’t perform well on certain USB drives unless you choose the correct settings for your setup. Use Media Creation Tools to get the drive ready—it handles everything properly. If it still doesn’t work, check these points: - Your USB isn’t compatible with booting. - The drive needs a different format. For UEFI systems, before installing Windows 10, ensure UEFI mode is active and CSM is turned off (this may overlap). Along the way, verify the SATA controller is in AHCI mode (no RAID), Secure Boot is off, and Fast Boot is enabled at the highest speed possible. Set POST delay to zero or disable RAM settings correctly. For AMD systems, the equivalent of XMP should be set to Profile 1 instead of Default. When you start booting from the USB, select “UEFI: <drive name>” rather than just the drive name. If CSM was activated or UEFI was disabled (such as Legacy or BIOS Mode), remember that in Windows Setup all partitions must be cleared and the drive must be formatted to switch from MBR to GPT.
