Unable to link my Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones to my new computer using Bluetooth.
You've connected everything and your PC is trying to add the headphones, but they're not showing up. Check the pairing settings, ensure the Bluetooth is enabled, and verify the device name matches exactly as listed on the ASUS website. If issues persist, try restarting both devices or consulting the manufacturer's support page.
Are there other gadgets you can connect to your computer using Bluetooth? Can your headphones link to another device through Bluetooth as well? Some headphones have restricted memory for the devices they support. There should be an option in your user guide to free up that memory so new connections are possible. If your memory is full and you can't add more devices, you'll need help.
I've tested three distinct pairs of headphones, but none are recognized on my new PC. The JBL Over-ear, JBL Truewireless, and Sony WH-1000XM6 models have all been connected to different devices previously—my work laptop and my cellphone.
Just to clarify, I removed the drivers and reinstalled them, and now it functions properly.
