This repair install simply swaps in Windows without deleting any files or programs.
If it fails, a full reinstall might be necessary for Razer compatibility.
What's the reason behind this request?

Sure, I'm here to clarify. This update should not affect your other drives. Let me know if you need further details.

repair install only affects the C drive.
I haven’t used central; I was just wondering if it’s intended for a particular purpose. It seems like rgb could have been an alternative option.

There are numerous RGB choices available, including support for Philips hue and many more. You can also select Razer Cortex, which I find to be a very useful tool. Additionally, your preferences and saved settings will remain across different applications such as Steam and Vivaldi Browser.

Windows 10 receives a fresh update roughly every six months. The repair install installs the newest version on the PC, and you must download the cumulative update to return to the latest state. It should not affect anything other than Windows itself, leaving settings unchanged. There are occasional chances it might fail, but I haven't encountered it. I just note it as a possibility. Some elements could contribute to failure.

i shouldn't have said anything. I just said it as there is a small chance anything you do can fail. No matter what it is.
I haven't seen anyone fail this action, I was just being cautionary. If you have other drives, copy any info that is on C off you can't afford to lose. backups are good regardless.
You probably be fine.

I have no valuable data on my C drive beyond music and a few documents, so I don’t have much to be concerned about.

consider trying a repair installation, it might resolve issues with PowerShell and possibly the installer.

It's nearly finished, I'm about to begin the installation.
