Essentially your computer stopped working properly a few times, showing error messages and crashing with SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. Now it won’t respond at all—no buttons, no taskbar, no desktop icons. I can only use the keyboard to move around. I’ve run SFC /scannow, chkdsk /f /r, and memory tests, but nothing fixed it. Anyone know what’s going on? Thanks! Sean.

That's a silly question, have you experimented with another mouse?

Open the task manager, press CTRL + ALT + DEL, exit explorer, run a new task and type "explorer," then verify your mouse position.

This occurred previously after I restored the system using system restore.

Perhaps someone removed your taskbar and replaced it with a desktop picture as a joke.
